Women's Career Institute 2019

The Women’s Career Institute is a career and leadership program sponsored by the Women’s Resources Center in collaboration with the Career Center, YWCA of the University of Illinois, and the School of Molecular & Cellular Biology. The day will run from 9am to 5pm. 

Track 1: Enhancing Confidence
Track 2: Thriving as a Professional

Topics include:

  • Finding a job

  • Strategies for communication and leadership

  • Addressing discrimination and harassment

  • Salary negotiation.

Finding the Levis Center

The Women’s Career Institute will be hosted at the Levis Faculty Center (919 W Illinois St.) on the second and third floors. View University of Illinois campus map. We offer closely located, free parking, and are easily accessible by public transportation. 

Getting there by bus

Champaign-Urbana’s Mass Transit District hosts several routes that will let you off just steps from the Institute. For the latest route and schedule information, check the MTD web site. U of I students, staff, and faculty ride for free with an i-card.
